Come on in guys!
Phillip and Bob Dawg voted out at last tribal council!
Let's get to today's challenge...
Once again, you will be playing for this:
For tonight's challenge, your tribe will be building a distress signal! You will work together in your tribe camps to plan, design, and execute your plans. Everyone should pitch in somehow; that means coming up with ideas and plans, critiquing, or actually working on the design. Not everyone has to work on the finished image, but everyone should work together and offer their input!
Of course, there's also a catch.
You don't get to pick what kinds of items you'll have.
Here are the items you can chose from. The number in parenthesis indicates how many times you may use that item.

- Flag
- Raft
- Bamboo (6)
- Oars (4)
- Suitcase
- Small mirror
- Matches
- Fire wood (Cannot light without matches)
- Rocks (9)
- Palm tree leaves (5)
- Bowls (8)
- Coconuts (5)
- Pots and Pans (3)
- Blankets (2)
- Tarp
- Water jug
- Pillows (2)
- Luxury Item (Your tribe can choose an item. It must be something plausible as far as luxury items go)
- Mangos (5 bunches)
- Bananas (4 bunches)
- Planks of wood (3)
- Umbrella
- Crate
- Bucket (2)
- Rope
You can pick up to 12 items or less, but you must use each item you pick. Once your tribe has submitted a final list of items you will be allowed to begin creating your distress signals using those items.
As far as images go, you can make those or find them yourselves. Items have to be accurate though, or they won't count. You're free to use whatever beach image you find as a base as well, within reason. Figure out how you want to make everything work and do it. Work together!
Your total score, as judged by us and some of the PW's, will be determined with the following criteria:
- Effectiveness: Could this function as an actual S.O.S. signal? (10 points)
- Neatness: Is it put together well? Or is it messy? (10 points)
- Creativity/Use of items: How creative you guys are! Is your design smart and interesting or is it something the world's most boring three year old could come up with? (10 points)
- Teamwork: More points if you guys all work together on this, less if someone does it all for you. Not everyone is a master at photoshop, but if you contribute creative ideas you'll get a higher score. (10 points)
- Instructions. Did you follow all the rules? Did you use an item too many times? (10 points)
You will have 24 hours to submit a final piece. If extensions are requested, we can add an extra 24 hours to the challenge depending on need.
Good luck!
